<li>On the iPad, the synthesizer offers extensive editing tools, providing a highly customizable sound design experience—note that these editing features are exclusive to the iPad platform.</li>
<li>Crystal integrates both subtractive and FM synthesis methods, expanding its sonic palette.</li>
<li>The synthesizer provides over 90 modulation parameters, multi-stage envelope editors with graphical interfaces, and precise tempo synchronization for envelopes, LFOs, and delay times.</li>
<li>Built-in effects include chorus, flanging, comb filtering, and echo, alongside a band splitter for frequency-specific effects processing.</li>
<li>The inclusion of wave sequencing and granular synthesis further enhances its capabilities, making the application suitable for a broad range of musical styles and experimental sound design.</li>

<li><strong>Crystal XT</strong>: Available from the Green Oak Software app store, this version extends functionality with MIDI keyboard input, sound sharing with desktop counterparts and other apps, as well as background audio support for seamless MIDI controller integration.</li>

<p>It is important to note that while Crystal operates on both iPad and iPhone devices, certain editing screens—including detailed parameter controls—are not accessible when using an iPhone due to screen size limitations. Nevertheless, users on the iPhone can still browse sounds, trigger notes via the keypad, and generate new sounds through the Breed and Design features.</p>
